A garden designed to accommodate a koi pond with a bio-filtration system, this garden blends into the natural contours of the site. The water flows through two ponds recirculating through hidden pipes to a wetland bog that cleans the water naturally. The pond design allows for shallow areas for bathing birds and other creatures. The local natural stone steps link the home and garden through seasonal plantings. Rain gardens are located in three different areas of the garden.
