This home owner wanted to keep her landscape decorative but also tackle with the storm run-off water that posed as a threat. The use of natural stone with granite accents kept with the country appeal of this home. The decorative stone work was designed to capture the run-off water and direct it away from the house and down the new path. The use of native plants naturalizes the landscape to make it seem as though it has always existed.
