This landscape belongs to a gardening expert. Having grown up on Lake Simcoe our client wanted a house and garden renovation. With heritage peonies and a selection of existing perennials and shrubs the garden was designed around the client’s love of plants and wish to garden by the lake. A heritage cobble walkway with alternating sedum and peonies approach the renovated masonry veneer home. The garden design incorporates Spruce, Cypress and Cedar trees to provide shade and structure and as well as rain gardens and patio areas for entertaining and enjoying the lake. The flagstone steps to the lake encompasses a dry-stream to accommodate runoff to the lake in heavy downpours.
