This project is a storm water management dream. With most of the run-off storm water travelling from the road and existing downspouts directly towards the house, this home owner knew he had to do something. Permeable paving applications not only helped to capture and store the run-off away from the house, but also updated the entire space. With filtration pits installed beneath the decorative stone, an over flow system was designed to take the water away from the house and to each pit. One downspout works perfectly with the rain barrel to water the stunning vegetable garden. Now the home owner can rest easy not only knowing the risk of water damage has been avoided, but he also gets to enjoy a more modern and open landscape.
